Time to get creative...

As the time is quickly flying by before I am meant to be opening this dream shop of mine, after work today, I decided it was time to get creative. I started with some cards, as I thought that was nice and easy to get into on a friday night..... so the kitchen table quickly looked like this....

But after a little bit of creative time, I ended up with these....

I had already done a small bit of bag making the other weekend. I decided to recreate a bigger version of this....

This was my most favourite bag I made for my degree show. However, I did not like the outcome of making it on a larger scale, so it strangely got misplaced so it could not be blogged!! But, it is beginning to grow on me now so I thought I would share it with you to see what people think....

Time to meet my new home

As some of you will know, next month I am going to start something new and hopefully exciting. I am going to rent a studio with selling space to make and sell mine and others work. It is a bit of a jump into the unknown business world.... hence being a little scared, but setting up a shop has always been my dream, so if it was not this year I would have done it another year. After finishing a degree you become in a bit of a dead end not knowing what to do next, this may not be the right thing, but there is only one way to find out.....

Sewing Mania

I thought I would update you on what my sewing machine has been making.  One of my earlier three items is in an envelope waiting to be posted, so I will not blog that until it has reached its delivery point or it may spoil the fun. The other two are still works in progress. However, I stupidly made a new material purchase....

Which then I could not resist and had finished making within 24 hours of buying the material, this...

And maybe once I have been paid I would really love to buy these to wear with it...

There is steam coming from my sewing machine

I have just got back from a lovely break in the sunshine in Spain, and nom I am back to being busy. Yesterday I found myself making 3 things at once, this is how they all started...

But what will they become?? You will have to wait and see as making 3 things at once meant I did not actually get anything finished!
