After finding the Little Cotton Rabbits blog, and seeing that Zoe had found out you could buy and had ordered a Little Cotton Rabbit, I am sorry Zoe but I could not resist having one as well. And today he came!

And inside.... Introducing how he shall now be known 'Bobby Bunny'

Little Cotton Rabbits (Julie) Also knits these lovely cup cakes. Some of you may already know Mary the Fairy that Sophie knitted me, from my early blog days. Well Mary begged for a cupcake when she saw them!!

Bobby and Mary have quickly become best 'knitted' friends...

Thankyou very much Julie, both your rabbits and cakes are even more adorable in real life. I just can't believe how quickly you knit them!

Time to get creative...

As the time is quickly flying by before I am meant to be opening this dream shop of mine, after work today, I decided it was time to get creative. I started with some cards, as I thought that was nice and easy to get into on a friday night..... so the kitchen table quickly looked like this....

But after a little bit of creative time, I ended up with these....

I had already done a small bit of bag making the other weekend. I decided to recreate a bigger version of this....

This was my most favourite bag I made for my degree show. However, I did not like the outcome of making it on a larger scale, so it strangely got misplaced so it could not be blogged!! But, it is beginning to grow on me now so I thought I would share it with you to see what people think....

Its Parceltastic

Yesterday, I came home to find I had missed the postman and a parcel. As with many post offices ours is half day closing on wednesdays, so I had to wait until today. So, this morning I got up and went to the post office to collect a blue box...

It turned out this box was from Mel, it even smelt like Mel when I opened it (she always smells of the shop Lush, but actually I think she would like to live in Lush!)

Inside were some lovely goodies from the Knitting and Stitching show, Thankyou Mel, they are fab.

Then, 5mins after walking back in the door with this parcel, the postman dropped me off another little suprise envelope with some more goodies inside, this time from Julie....

Inside were these beautiful handpainted magnet puzzles. They are really lovely, and I love the frogs grin!! Thankyou Julie, a nice suprise.

Time to meet my new home

As some of you will know, next month I am going to start something new and hopefully exciting. I am going to rent a studio with selling space to make and sell mine and others work. It is a bit of a jump into the unknown business world.... hence being a little scared, but setting up a shop has always been my dream, so if it was not this year I would have done it another year. After finishing a degree you become in a bit of a dead end not knowing what to do next, this may not be the right thing, but there is only one way to find out.....

Here comes the Postman

After a few technical difficulties last night of a flat camera battery, I have now got around to blogging!

I love parcels, as do many people, and my new little venture that some of you may or may not know about of carrying on my knitted textiles, and setting up a small business has led to many items having to be ordered and delivered.

The last week, I have had lots of nice parcels, from felt to business books!

A Soapie Post

My friend Sophie has been moaning I have not posted in a while, so this post is for her. My mum has funny little names for some of my friends, and this week she was talking about Sophie, but started calling her Soapie. So this is a Soapie post...

Everone, meet Stephen my Dcuk. This was my 21st birthday present from Soapie. He is a much loved Dcuk, and he may become my shop mascot if I get my unit I have possibly found to start my future career.

Soapie is a very close and much loved friend, who I am currently trying to perswade to make some lovely cards to sell in my possible shop!!
